Dr. Jay Calvert
Dr. Calvert, a world-renowned expert in the field of rhinoplasty with a particular focus on revision rhinoplasty. Throughout the fellowship year one will acquire the skills and knowledge of how to best use autologous costal cartilage to reconstruct some of the most challenging revision rhinoplasty cases. He has lectured all over the world about his techniques in rhinoplasty, facelift, necklift and complex revision breast augmentation. His passion for educating extends beyond training USC residents and fellows each year; he educates podcast subscribers all over the country via The Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery Podcast channel weekly. Highly regarded by his peers, Dr. Calvert was elected to serve as the president for The Rhinoplasty Society from 2019 to 2021.

Dr. Ashkan Ghavami
Dr. Ghavami is a globally respected plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills. Aside from his long roster of celebrity patients, he is considered by his colleagues to be a true master in rhinoplasty, complex revision rhinoplasty, quick recovery breast surgery, and gluteal augmentation (S-Curve®). He has been involved in pivotal studies and task-force groups focused on enhancing the safety of gluteal augmentation procedures. As one of the first to bring social media to the field of aesthetic plastic surgery, he remains at the forefront of creating innovative, tasteful, educational content. Dr. Ghavami has also authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles, textbook chapters and invited to lecture all over the world. In 2023, his textbook Global Rhinoplasty was published, instantly becoming a resource for surgeons who wish to learn how to refine their results in ethnic rhinoplasties. Most recently, he was elected to serve as the president of The Rhinoplasty Society for this upcoming 2023-2024 year.

Dr. Andrew Ordon
Each year the two aesthetic fellows have the pleasure to work with and learn from Dr. Ordon. He brings decades of plastic surgery experience and a unique perspective to this fellowship. A celebrity plastic surgeon and celebrity himself (most notably has been one of the longstanding hosts of the show, The Doctors), Dr. Ordon’s illustrious career speaks for itself. He has practiced in two of the largest plastic surgery markets in the country, New York City and Beverly Hills. More recently he spends some time in Dubai seeing patients from various parts of the world. Passionate in educating future generations of plastic surgeons, he maintains clinical professorship positions at the following hospitals: University of Southern California (USC), University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), Dartmouth, University of Connecticut and The New York Medical College.

Dr. Ritu Chopra
Dr. Chopra’s practice and expertise resides in deep plane facelifts and the management of breast implant illness. His unique, high-volume, practice brings another dimension to this fellowship. The fellows learn how to perform a comprehensive facial rejuvenation using the latest, most advanced techniques in deep plane facelift/necklift, lip lifts, browlifts and blepharoplasties. Patients are thrilled by the results and compassionate care they receive. He is also a dedicated educator for the two aesthetic fellows each year.

Dr. Luis Macias
Dr. Macias is the most recent faculty addition to this fellowship. Non-surgical treatments can be learned at the cutting-edge medical spa that includes numerous laser and radiofrequency platforms. His well-rounded surgical practice in Marina del Rey includes facelifts, rhinoplasty, mommy makeovers, fat transfer, drainless abdominoplasty among other procedures. He has been at the forefront of plastic surgery education as the director of aesthetics for the USC residents. As a previous fellow of Dr. Grant Stevens, he is intimately familiar with the fellowship and motivated to continue improving the experience for all of the future fellows.

Dr. Nathaniel Villaneuva
Dr. Villanueva, also a prior graduate of this fellowship himself, has quickly established a presence in Beverly Hills and in Rancho Mirage by delivering consistent, excellent results in high-definition torso contouring, gluteal augmentation and rhinoplasty procedures. As a frequent user and instructor of the Renuvion J-Plasma device for skin tightening, fellows learn how to apply ancillary devices/technologies with surgery to achieve excellent results.

Dr. Justin Perez
Another alumnus of this fellowship, Dr. Perez brings significant experience in the field of lasers, injectables, minimally invasive technologies, how to run a high-volume medical spa in addition to his surgical expertise. Learning how to cultivate a busy surgical practice right out of training is incredibly valuable. His practice consists of facial rejuvenation (facelift, necklift, browlift, blepharoplasty), complex revision breast procedures and body contouring.

Dr. Joubin Gabbay
Dr. Gabbay offers excellent breast and body contouring experience. He is an active teacher for fellows in breast surgery as well as his particular talent for awake liposuction. He is currently the clinic director of plastic surgery at Cedars Sinai hospital and is a great mentor for development on the business side of private practice.

Dr. Millicent Rovelo
Dr. Rovelo specializes in breast surgery and body contouring. She also co-hosts the Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery Podcast with Dr. Calvert. She offers experience in complex primary and secondary breast surgery as well as complex body contouring.
